A new timber house frame going up in a misty field at dawn

Changelog

Release notes for Redline. What we're shipping and when.
  1. v1.2

    Redline everywhere

The biggest release since launch. Redline moves beyond iOS to reach every screen your crew works from.

    • Native Android client, built against the same API surface as iOS
    • Web client at full feature parity, served from the same backend
    • Upgraded AI model: lower inference latency, higher retrieval accuracy, expanded trade-specific context handling
    • QuickBooks Online integration with bidirectional sync and conflict resolution
    • Offline mode for iOS: local persistence for jobs and contacts, background sync with conflict-safe writes on reconnect
    • Crew GPS check-in: geotagged clock-in events from the mobile client
    • Bulk invoice send: batched dispatch with per-recipient delivery status
    • Cross-stack performance and reliability work: query optimization, reduced cold-start time, tighter error budgets
  2. v1.1.4

    Stability & speed

    • Pipeline load time cut on large datasets (500+ contact records) via paginated fetches and list virtualization
    • Fixed: stale credits meter after plan upgrade (cache invalidation miss on the entitlements record)
    • Fixed: iOS crash on back-navigation from a job thread on iPhone SE (view-lifecycle teardown race)
    • Fixed: activity timestamps pinned to US/Eastern regardless of locale; now stored UTC and localized client-side
    • Search: prefix and substring tokenization added to the contact index, so partial name matches rank reliably
  3. v1.1.3

    AI improvements

    • Session-scoped context retention improved: better entity resolution across turns, fewer unknown-referent fallbacks
    • Follow-up detection tuned for precision: overdue-lead classifier flags more accurately with fewer false positives
    • Fixed: accounts-receivable query (“who owes me money”) returning $0 on a subset of accounts (aggregation error in the balance rollup)
    • Fixed: keyboard-avoidance layout regression on iPadOS
  4. v1.1.2

    Invoicing & payments polish

    • Pay links now render merchant branding (business name and logo) server-side
    • Deposit confirmation flow reworked: explicit payment state surfaced to the customer at each step
    • Fixed: duplicate line-item aggregation in monthly P&L on jobs with split payments (idempotent rollup enforced)
    • Fixed: duplicate reminder dispatch on jobs carrying two contacts (dedupe now keyed on job, not contact)
    • QuickSort sort preference persisted per user across sessions
    • iOS background-sync battery draw reduced via coalesced fetch intervals
  5. v1.1.1

    Post-launch fixes

    • Fixed: iOS first-launch crash for users who completed onboarding on web (nil profile state during hydration)
    • Fixed: integration sync stalling after OAuth token refresh; refresh no longer invalidates in-flight sync jobs
    • Crew tab: dispatch events now reliably fan out push notifications to the assigned tech's device
    • Fixed: calendar events created via chat missing from calendar view (write path skipped the view index)
    • Onboarding import: photo-to-contacts OCR pipeline improved, materially higher extraction accuracy
    • Chat history hydration 2x faster on older devices (lazy pagination, smaller payloads)
  6. v1.1

    Mobile, integrations & polish

The first major feature wave: Redline ships native on iOS and gets materially smarter.

    • Native iOS app, universal build for iPhone and iPad
    • Additional third-party integrations enabled through the connector layer
    • QuickSort: one-tap job prioritization that ranks open work by expected value
    • UI overhaul across the pipeline, contacts, and chat surfaces
    • Extensive defect burn-down and reliability hardening
  7. v1.0.3

    Performance

    • Chat response latency down ~40% under load after backend concurrency tuning
    • Fixed: silent receipt-snap failure on low-storage devices; capture now fails loudly with a retry path
    • Fixed: phone number formatting dropped on spreadsheet import (number normalization corrected)
    • Initial bundle slimmed and non-critical requests deferred: faster first load on constrained connections
    • Pipeline card layout fixes at narrow breakpoints
  8. v1.0.2

    Billing & accounts

    • Fixed: free-plan credit counter lagging after an AI exchange; the meter now subscribes to usage events in real time
    • Fixed: plan upgrades requiring a manual refresh; entitlements now propagate immediately on change
    • Declined payments now surface the processor's reason codes instead of a generic error
    • Calendar week view now starts on Monday (previously Sunday)
    • Destructive-action guard: contact deletion now requires explicit confirmation
  9. v1.0.1

    Day-one patch

Addressed the first wave of issues reported at launch.

    • Fixed: onboarding blocked at step 3 for a subset of Firefox users (browser storage edge case)
    • Fixed: double-tap race condition sending empty chat messages; submits are now debounced
    • Fixed: completed jobs still reading “in progress” in the pipeline (status transition now invalidates the pipeline cache)
    • Skeleton loading states rolled out across the dashboard: no more blank flash on first paint
  10. v1.0

    Public launch

The first public release of Redline MVP: the chat-first field service tool built for contractors and home-service businesses.

More updates land here as we ship.
